We took great care of the details during the renovation of the building. The materials used are those typical of a Menorcan home: marés sandstone arches, original wooden beams and handcrafted hydraulic tile are perfectly integrated into a minimalist design that highlights the interior’s handmade wood furniture.
Our history
Located in the historical old town centre of Es Migjorn Gran, on a quiet pedestrian street, S’Estil•let pays homage to the region’s traditional cobblery sector. During the building’s renovation maximum care was taken to preserve the original architecture, and the interior’s design takes cues from the craft of the sabater de banqueta, the region’s traditional cobbler figure. In fact, the name of the hotel, S’Estil•let, refers to a tool still used today by craft shoemakers to sharpen their tools.
