The S’Estil·let hotel is located in the old town centre of Es Migjorn Gran, number 54 Carrer Major, the quiet pedestrian main street.

The location is unbeatable, a charming hotel right in the heart of Menorca.

Es Migjorn Gran

With a population of 1,300 inhabitants, Es Migjorn Gran is a very quiet town ideal for a restful stay. The town’s people are cordial and friendly. The beaches of Santo Tomás and San Adeodato can be found just 4km down the road. From these beaches, and only 5 minutes further on foot, the virgin beach of Binigaus can be accessed. In the case of not having access to a personal vehicle, there is a regular public transportation line from town to the beach. We recommend consulting the island’s public transportation website: www.tmsa.es. Here you will be better informed of the possibilities to move all around Menorca.

By bike, on foot or by sea, you mustn’t miss the chance to visit other heavenly beaches and coves within our municipality: Cala Escorxada, Cala Fustam, Trebalúger or Atalis.

The town has conserved the essence of traditional Menorca, its streets are narrow and its houses are whitewashed, in the purest Mediterranean style.

The ancient roots of the island also make their presence known in Es Migjorn Gran; here you can find the Cova des Coloms and Sa Cova Polida caves, among other archeological sites. In terms of territorial density (3,249.49 hectares), it is the municipality with the most archeological sites on the island.

A Mediterranean gem

Menorca was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1993 due to its excellent preservation of both its natural and cultural holdings. This label distinguishes territories that present sustainable growth and development patterns in which the preservation of the environment goes hand in hand with its economic activities. This is one of the gems of the Mediterranean.

Don’t miss out on the Camí de Cavalls, a historical trail that winds around the entire Menorcan coastline. This trail was used in the XIV century to defend Menorca and presently is a well-known hiking route. From Es Migjorn Gran there is direct access to two of its route segments: one toward Son Bou and the other toward Cala Galdana.
